The Happiest People are the most loving people, they are very kind, caring and compassionate. They have very high ethics and integrity.
Love Powers Happiness - Wherever Love Is Limited Or Lacking There Is No Happiness
Evil people are never truly happy people because they don't love fully or expansively. Evil people either don't care about other people's well-being or they just enjoy being mean.
Some evil people actually enjoy hurting people who are unable to defend themselves.
Can you imagine being happy because you can hurt people who are weaker than you are with impunity? What does that say about warped values and the psychology of evil doers?
More often than not, evil people just don't care. They feel they can steal anything they want or do anything they want and use evil actions to keep their victims from fighting back, all justified by their self centered "superiority."
Evil people have no ethics, no empathy and no compassion. Pschologists call them Sociopaths and Psychopaths, some are successful politicians and CEOs. They are characterized by a "flat aspect," meaning a fundamental lack of emotional expressiveness and feeling. Evil people are hollow inside.
Since they don't feel good about much of what they do, they deprive themselves of many of life's most important joys. They don't embrace genuine goodness as a guiding goal. They don't love expansively or extensively. They seek thrills and highs to compensate for their lack of love.
These people do not feel true happiness, joy or love but they do worry their evil deeds and misbehavior will be exposed and punished.
Corrupt Organizations - It always amazes me when good people who become involved in evil, corrupt organizations are surprised and outraged when those evil, corrupt groups turn against them.
Corrupt people don't care about them or their well-being.
Corrupt people play by their own rules, for their own gain. They worry that honest people will let their secrets slip so they demean and dispose of them when they are no longer needed.
Working in corrupt organizations means being willing to be manipulated, controlled and emotionally dispossessed. It means choosing to be hollow inside too. You never know if they will hurt someone you love to get back or control you.
You have to put your corrupt leaders' whims ahead of your own desires and be willing to do it daily. It may bring riches but it is not a recipe for happiness and spiritual success.
If you tolerate evil who will protect your children, your grandchildren and their children?
Stealing things from others never brings the same appreciation, understanding or satisfaction as earning it for ourselves.
Erroding Evil - Evil dwindles and dimishes when people start to value feeling genuinely happy and good about themselves more than superfical status or material riches.
It happens when people fully embrace the joy of genuine goodness, of doing good and being the best they can be rather than hiding shamefully in the shadows.
Evil people are never really happy, but they usually have the option to change.
What good does all the "stuff" do you when you really don't enjoy it and when you are not happy?
